The clinic website checklist
Thirty checks, in the order a new patient meets them. Open your site on your phone and tick them off. It takes about half an hour.
- Numbers you can check
Our figures come from a public scan of clinic homepages, and we publish how we counted.
How we count - Your accounts stay yours
Your domain, website and online profile are in your name from day one.
How we work - Month to month
No long contract. Thirty days’ notice, and your accounts and numbers stay with you.
Read the FAQ - No patient information needed
We work on your website, profiles and settings. Patient records stay in your clinic.

How to use it
Use your phone, not your laptop. Pretend you are a new patient, in pain, at 9 pm, and you have never been to your clinic. Score each line: yes, no or partly. Fix the “no” answers first, from the top.
Score at the end: [ ] / 30
A. Booking (the first thing to fix)
- There is a Book online button, visible without scrolling, on the homepage.
- The same button is in the header or footer of every page.
- You can book a first visit in four taps or fewer.
- The booking page says which visit type is for new patients.
- The booking link works on a phone and doesn’t need an account or an app.
- Your online profile has the same booking link.
- If someone can’t book online, the phone number is a tap-to-call link and says when you answer.
B. Phone and speed
- The homepage loads in about three seconds on mobile data.
- Text is readable without pinching and buttons are easy to tap.
- Nothing jumps around while the page loads.
- Images are sized for a phone (no huge photos slowing the page).
- No pop-ups cover the main content on first load.
C. Trust
- Real photos of your clinic and your team, not only stock images.
- Practitioner names, credentials and a short plain-language bio.
- Google reviews or star rating shown on the site (check your regulator’s rules first).
- Your address, hours and phone number are in the footer and match your online profile.
- The site is secure (shows https with a padlock).
- A privacy notice link in the footer.
Not sure where your clinic stands? We’ll look at it the way a new patient does and send a short written report. No pitch.
D. Pages for what you treat
- A page for each of your top three to five conditions or services.
- Each page says who you help, what a visit involves and has a Book online button.
- Pages use patients’ words (“lower back pain”), not only clinical terms.
- A “your first visit” page: what to wear, how long, what to bring.
- Funding is explained: direct billing, referrals, insurance, or self-pay (as relevant to you).
- If you serve more than one area or location, each has its own page.
E. Basics that get missed
- Each page has a clear title and a short description for search results.
- Your site links to your online profile, and your profile links to your site.
- A way to contact you that doesn’t require a phone call (form or email).
- The site is easy to read: good contrast, large text, headings, alt text on images.
- Your regulator’s advertising rules have been checked against claims, before-and-afters, offers and testimonials on the site.
- You own the domain and can log in to the site yourself. Write down where it lives: ______________
What to do with your score
- 25 to 30: You’re in good shape. Check reviews and pages every few months.
- 15 to 24: Fix section A first, then C.
- Under 15: Don’t rebuild yet. Fix booking, the online profile and your top three pages first. That is often enough.
Want a second pair of eyes? Claim your marketing audit and we’ll go through your site, online profile and booking path, then send you a short written list of what to fix first.
