What a new patient meets on your homepage

Four problems we see again and again when we read clinic homepages the way a new patient does: on a phone, in the first few seconds, ready to book.

  1. No way to book online

They want a time tonight. There is a contact form, so they go back to Google.

  2. Reviews nobody sees

Patients love you on Google, but the website shows no stars, no count and no words from patients.

  3. No reason to book now

No first-visit page, no welcome, no clear next step. People look, then leave.

  4. A phone number you can’t tap

The number is plain text, so calling takes copying and switching apps. Many people don’t bother.

Where new patients slip away

We scanned 300,000+ private practice websites and read 81,024 homepages in detail, the way a new patient does in the first few seconds. Pick your clinic type.

  • 49%

    No online booking

of homepages had no way to book online that we could find.

A patient who searches at 9 pm books with the clinic that lets them.

  • 68%

    No visible reviews

of homepages showed no star rating or review count.

Reviews are the first thing a nervous new patient looks for.

  • 98%

    No reason to book now

of homepages gave new patients no offer, first-visit page or clear next step.

Without a clear next step, people look, then leave.

  • 56%

    A number you can’t tap

of homepages had no tap-to-call link on the homepage.

Most searches start on a phone. Plain-text numbers lose calls.

It starts with a written audit

Before you commit to anything, we read your clinic the way a new patient does and write down what is broken and what to fix first. Your audit is free: a written report in 3 business days, no call and no obligation.

  1. Your online profile

Category, hours, photos, posts and reviews: what a patient sees on the map.

  2. Your website on a phone

Can a new patient see what you treat, trust you and book in a few taps?

  3. Ads and social

Where the money and posts go, and whether anyone can tell what they produce.

  4. Your reviews

How many, how recent, and whether patients can actually see them.

  5. Booking and calls

From the first tap or call to a confirmed visit, and where people give up.

They search, compare and decide in minutes

A new physio patient is usually in pain, on a phone, and not ready to ring around. They search for the problem or for “physio near me”, look at the first few clinics on the map, glance at reviews and try to book.

If your clinic is easy to find, easy to trust and easy to choose, you get the visit. If any of those three fail, you don’t. Many clinics lose patients at one specific point. Finding it is the first job.

Six places a physio clinic loses patients

  • Hard to find on the map. Wrong category, old hours, few photos and no recent posts, so nearby clinics show up first.
  • Ads and social nobody can measure. Money and effort go out every month and nobody can say what came back.
  • One services page for everything. Back pain, sports injuries, pelvic health, concussion, vestibular rehab and workplace injuries all crammed together. Patients search for one thing and can’t find it.
  • Funding questions unanswered. Is direct billing available? Do I need a referral? Is it covered by insurance or by workers’ compensation or auto insurance? If the site doesn’t answer, patients guess, or leave.
  • Reviews stay hidden. Great outcomes, few public reviews, none on the website.
  • Nobody owns the result. One person built the site, another runs the ads, someone posts when there is time. No one can say what it produced.

Fill the schedule, then keep it full

Getting the booking is half the job. Reminders, a clear cancellation policy and a calm front desk script cut no-shows. Most clinics have a list of past patients and no regular way to talk to them. A short message to past patients can bring back people who stopped halfway. We write the email, and your clinic sends it from its own email system. Your team runs the rest.

Look first. Fix one thing. Keep it working.

  1. Marketing audit. A short written report on your clinic, the way a new patient sees it.
  2. One fixed fix. One clearly defined job, agreed in writing before you sign anything.
  3. Month-to-month care. If you want it kept sharp, we look after it month to month. No long contract.

Your domain, website and online profile stay in your name.

Regulated profession, regulated advertising

Physio owners ask

Do I need to change booking software?

No. We work with Jane and Cliniko. Using something else? Tell us in the form and we’ll say whether we can help.

Does this work for sports and rehab clinics?

Yes. The same path applies: search, trust, book. The pages are different.

What about direct billing and referrals?

We help you explain them clearly on the site. See direct billing on your website. We don’t handle claims.

How long until I see a change?

Booking and profile fixes can show in weeks. Rankings take longer. We won’t promise a date.

What does it cost?

We fix your marketing once as a project, at one agreed price written down before you sign. Our only monthly plan is website management. The scope and price are fixed in writing before you sign. See pricing.

Will you see patient information?

No. We work on your website, your online profile and your booking software’s own settings. Patient records stay in your clinic, and email lists stay in your clinic’s own system.
